Good morning my dears! I’ve been searching for fresh art to add to our walls — specifically, a typography print or two to mix into a new art wall. I hit upon Sarah and Bendrix and was instantly smitten…now it’s just a question of which print to choose!
My favorites from the shop are the prints with gold foil accents — call me a magpie, but I simply can’t resist anything shiny and gold! And I love the creative display idea above, don’t you? Horizontally aligned art feels really fresh right now, and having one ornate gold frame mixed with the basic whites really makes it for me.
And now for the prints, here are my top 3:
This is such a sweet one, I would consider hanging it in the space just beside my front door. What a lovely message to read each time you come and go!
Bonjour amour, bon jour! Such a darling message, and you really can never go wrong with Tiffany blue and gold — at least, not in my book! I would lean this on top of our bedroom shelves, or hang it on the wall in our kitchen near the french press.
Last, but quite possibly my favorite, I included this print in my Slow Decorating Plan for the living room, and I am still really liking it. My first thought is to include it in a gallery-style art wall, though I could also see tucking it into the largest shelf on my bookcase. We shall see…
Did you have a favorite above? Are you a fan of typography prints in general? I love them, but also realize they must be balanced with plenty of other artwork…otherwise it can feel as if your whole house is covered in words, which could be a little strange! :)
