Weeee! Are you ready to have a moment of pure, unadulterated decorating joy? Oh good, come right this way, it’s through the doors here into Yvonne’s kitchen…
Isn’t that Toast Print adorable? It is from Showler and Showler, and I’m kind of in love with it. I think that coral-red color would look fantastic against the warm gray walls in my kitchen. And don’t you love how she has all of her colorful printed muffin cups stacked up in a glass jar?
On the wall in Yvonne’s home hangs a postcard holder displaying some of her favorite cards and things, which I think is such a smart idea. I have a major weakness for pretty paper products – I like to stock up on cards from small presses every once in a while, I find it so helpful to have cards to choose from when occasions come up instead of scrambling to buy a card from the drugstore. But then all of those lovely, colorful cards just sit in my desk drawer – how much better would it be to have them all on display near my desk? I love it.
I also really admire how Yvonne has tracked down attractive versions of all of the accessories and little necessary tools in the kitchen. Enamel buckets, floral-printed oven mitts, a chalkboard hung from a hook, sigh. What do you think? Spy anything you love?

A postcard holder is such a good idea. Not only is it decorative but a space saver too. I can’t bring myself to throw away postcards so I tend to have a drawer full but will look in to this.
Lovely kitchen. Love all the colored details like floral mitts and cupcake forms in the spaghetti jar.
