Inspiring Home In Morocco

Today I would like to share with you a very special home tour, found via the lovely French magazine Milk. It is the family home of Zid Zid Kids founders Julie Klear and Moulay Essakalli in Marrakesh, and I just know you are going to love it!

Above is Julie and Moulay’s courtyard…I mean honestly, can you believe it? Gorgeous, right? The tiles, the hanging woven lanterns, plants, pink walls, all of it. I want to move in!

Inside, you will find the kind of saturated color that is done so well in Morocco – richly hued walls and intricate tile floors in every room, and the couple’s eclectic mix of antiques and pieces of their own design throughout.

The children’s rooms are so inspiring, don’t you think? It seems like the sort of home where creativity of all sorts would thrive. You can see more of the home tour on the Milk site (it’s in French), and shop for Julie and Moulay’s amazing line of products through their shop Zid Zid Kids.

I agree, the children’s rooms are particularly inspiring. Love that courtyard too.

I love the saturated colors on the walls together with the black and white floors/rugs.
