Hello sweets! As I mentioned recently, I am in the market for a new living room rug. I was considering using this as a chance to bring some much-needed color into my home, but then I spied all of these lovelies below in cool neutrals and I was bewitched! I am still thinking about getting a colorful rug, so I’ve decided to turn this into a mini series with three parts – stay tuned for parts 2 & 3 later in the week!

Most of the rugs above are quite affordable – which I realize is a relative statement, but many of those you see above are well under $1000 even in the large sizes, so shop away! Do you have a favorite from the choices above? What would you vote for in my living room, which is mostly white: a neutral rug like one of these (with hits of color in pillows + accessories) or would you lean towards using the rug as the main color statement? I would love to hear your opinion! xo Laura

I love the flokati diamonds rug (no. 8), and it is very soft for little boys! It also fits in with your love of white floors. But I could maybe see a color too. I look forward to the next groups of rugs.

They’re all lovely, but my favourite are no. 5 & no.10. I’d go with neutral rug and then use colour for cushions, throws and other accessories – that’s what I’m doing in my living room :)
