If you have been reading this blog for any amount of time you know that I have a bit of a thing for Scandinavian interiors. Okay, so it’s an obsession. I think it all started when my parents saw a little girl around my age on the cover of National Geographic – a girl from Norway – who looked like she could be my long-lost twin, next thing you know I was bleaching the wood floors in my bedroom, and it was all downhill from there ;) Ahem. Moving on, I recently came across Norske interiørblogger, a gorgeous design blog from Norway and although I cannot read a word of the text, I found myself scrolling on and on through the archives and feeling very inspired!
Do you ever visit blogs or websites published in languages you do not speak? It’s fun to get to see what bloggers are writing about in other parts of the world! I love that tiny cottage/shed in the snow, pictured above – the bright orange mailbox is so cute, don’t you think? All three images above came from the same home tour – the homeowner also has children, so if you have little ones yourself you will certainly want to check out the rest of the post to see her adorable kids rooms.
I am especially drawn to Scandinavian design around this time of year – they just do winter so well, you know? ;) I love the look of the holiday table above, with branches brought in from the woods and handmade ornaments, all against a white backdrop. Go to Norske interiørblogger to see more…

I love how you can pinpoint where your love of Scandinavian design came from! I hadn’t known much about it before finding your blog and I also am in love, so thanks for sparking my interest. :)
