One of my favorite sources for affordable art is Jen Bekman’s expertly curated online gallery, 20X200. And today there happens to be a fantastic 20% off sale going on, so I thought it would be fun to highlight 5 of my favorite limited edition prints from the shop. Are you ready? Help yourself to a glass of wine and a nibble of cheese if you like ;) and let’s take a little gallery tour…
First stop is this photography/typography print by Shaun Sundholm. Though it was shot in Oregon it reminds me of the area of California where I rode horses growing up, so it feels really special to me.
Next we have Dandelion Clothesline, a photograph by William Lamson. I love how the light plays on the dandelions, don’t you?
Craving more city flair? How about West Forty-third Street (Yellow Cabs) by Joseph O. Holmes? I just love this aerial shot with the lined-up cabs and rooftop gardens, sigh. If you could afford it, I think this one would look especially striking really, really BIG!
Of course I was drawn to Winter Flags (East Village, New York) by Youngna Park…hello, buntings! Really though, this would be such a cheerful print to hang in your home, don’t you think?
Are you ready for dessert? ;) I love artist Kevin Cyr’s commercial truck portraits, and I am especially fond of this Hostess Cake truck.
So, which was your favorite? And if you’ve visited 20X200 before, are there any other prints you are pining for? Please share!
p.s. (for the Bixby Fan Club): Today was supposed to be Bixby’s 5 Month photo day…but unfortunately we weren’t able to get the shot, so I will be posting it tomorrow. Promise!
