Happy Weekend!

It’s that time again! Time to sign off and get cozied up in our houses and apartments, preparing to enjoy whatever the weekend has to offer. This weekend will be exciting around here because it’s Benny’s birthday and we are planning to leave Bixby with the grandparents while we sneak off on our first “date” since the baby was born – woohoo! Also in my plans this weekend will be lots of little organizing projects, reading, listening to music, and staying snug while watching the storm (ahem, hurricane) go by outside.

I thought I would leave you with this little collection of inspiring images, all with a hint of yellow – a color that I am leaning towards using as the accent color in my office area. A little yellow goes a long way, don’t you think? I love yellow in the fall because it echos the color of the falling leaves outside, but without veering into full-on autumn landscape colors, which I don’t want. I just want a hint of sunshine :)
