Oh happy weekend, friends! First I just have to apologize for being a bit overextended this week – things have been very busy around my home, and I am afraid that next week will be a crazy one, too! My Dad and Stepmom are coming to visit and help paint our kitchen and nursery, and while I will do my best to prepare a few posts ahead of time, I can’t make any promises! The good news is, by next weekend I should have a lot to share with you. And now it is time to share my seven finds from my wanderings this week, I really hope you enjoy them :)
1. I found the Midi Boutique on decor8 and was so taken with the style, the colors and textures in this sunny shop that I wish I could zip over to Australia to check it out in person! Hee hee :)
2. I don’t think these awning stripe outdoor drapes would be quite right for my own house, but I LOVE them! Somebody should buy them ;) Oh, and the sheer lanterns above are on sale right now over at Pottery Barn, they would be so pretty on a protected porch or in a bedroom.
3. Isn’t he handsome? This large, limited-edition print from Lonny would look fantastic in a crisp white frame with a large mat.
4. For a more 3D art form, what about commissioning a custom cross-stitch portrait from The Time Is Now? I love how these feel old-timey and modern at the same time.
5. Hello pink! How could you possibly be in a bad mood while carrying this awesome pink Orla Kiely bag?
6. Luna Shoe Shop makes the softest looking leather ballet flats; they almost look like Moroccan slippers, don’t you think? I am partial to the pink ones, but there are lots of other lovelies in the shop.
7. And finally, these photographs are from the portfolio of Kathryn Gamble – just dreamy, soft and lovely :)
Well that is all for me today! I have a very busy weekend ahead of me because Benny and I will be painting our basement, so wish me luck with that! I love horse pictures, although I was never a “horsey girl” as a kid. We have a beautiful print from Blissful Images (aka Mrs French of Bliss). There is so much energy in photos of horses, even when they are standing still!
