Are you a fan of Anthropologie? Oh, I thought so ;) I miss having an Anthro store nearby – I had several outposts to choose from when I lived in the SF Bay Area, but now the closest shop to me is in Boston, and I don’t make it there as often as I would like. Although, on second thought, maybe it’s better that way, otherwise I would be broke! Ha ha. Today I went on a little imaginary shopping spree and decided to share 10 of my current favorites. Would you like to see?
These first 5 items I imagine going in a sweet little workspace or studio – fun curtains to frame your view, a sweet little jacket and clutch to throw on at lunch, a pretty print for your wall, and cool zinc letters to prop on a shelf above your desk…
1. Wish-Upon Curtain; 2. Landmarks Jacket; 3. What-A-Snap Clutch; 4. Pen & Ink Violas; 5. Oversized Zinc Letters.
And the last five I love for their whimsy – a twirly skirt that reminds me of childhood dress-up parties, cap-toe ballerina flats, sparkly hair pins, repurposed silver plant markers, and a fresh copy of Alice in Wonderland…
6. Masterpiece Awaits Skirt; 7. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland; 8. Toe-Tapping Flats; 9. Sparkle Bobbies; 10. Vintage Garden Markers.
Oh dear, oh my, there is so much to love in that store! I really do wish they would open up shop in Providence…even though it would be hard to keep from emptying my wallet! The whole environment they create is enough to lift my spirits – the music, the creative window displays, the bountiful piles of gorgeousness, ah…
So, which are your favorites?

Ooh, that would be fun, Melis!
Oh yes, I know what you mean about it perhaps being a good thing that the closest store is in Boston! Internet “window” shopping is far less dangerous for me. I love Anthropologie and my dream is for my work to be sold there someday {someday soon!}
The “On Guerrilla Gardening” book would look lovely with my vintage gardening book collection (and be a great read) – we’ve been working our way through the movie Che and with gardening season upon us this really caught my eye. And the Bustled Shower Curtain is begging to be hung in our bathroom as a prize for finishing renovations (when we finally get to that point).
