Happy weekend, dear friends! I am going to leave you with a very short Sweet Obsessions Friday today (only three things!), but each one is extra special, I promise! I am really looking forward to this weekend because I feel like I’ve had a very busy and productive week and I am ready to chill out and have some fun. I have a few nice things planned with my honey, including picking out our Christmas tree at a local tree farm (you choose it early, and they cut it later – how sweet is that?), shopping for holiday gifts at a totally no-stress venue (see #2 below for details), and joining the YMCA so I have a nice warm pool to swim in through the winter! I hope you have something lovely planned as well – I think it is so important, especially at this time of year, that we take a little time-out on the weekends and think of ways to avoid stressful situations. Okay, I just rambled on longer than I meant to. Ahem, moving on…

1. If you have a little time over the weekend to sit down with a cup of coffee or tea, why don’t you visit Spring? Spring: Inspiration In Bloom is a brand new blogging/video project that is a collaboration between four talented, totally creative and wonderful women – including creative career coach Michelle Ward (who I had a little chat with here), artist and blogger Jess Gonacha Swift of Treasuring and Pecannoot, Carolyn Rubenstein, author of Perseverance (and a PhD candidate in clinical psychology at Harvard), and Jess Constable, designer of Jess L.C. Jewelry and Makeunder My Life blogger. Their first totally awesome series of video conversations centers on Gratitude – go check it out!

2. I can’t wait to go to Craftland! I can’t wait to go to Craftland! Can you tell I’m just a little excited? Craftland is located in downtown Providence, and if you just imagine the best of Etsy springing to life before your eyes, that is how I picture it. I somehow missed it last year and I was kicking myself for months – but no need to beat myself up this time! Not only am I going to go this weekend, but Craftland has become so popular they have transformed into a year-round store selling nothing but handmade goodness! And they offer craft classes in their School of Craft. Woohoo!
4. Okay, are you paying attention? On Monday, Holly Becker of decor8 is opening sign-ups for the Winter session of her Blogging Your Way e-course. I took this e-course during the first session this Spring (you may remember me raving about it), and it was just so inspiring and energizing, I just can’t say enough good things about it. If you want to sign up, I am telling you – you must be poised on Monday and ready to sign up because this course sells out fast. Like, within-an-hour-or-two-lightning-fast. You can read all about it here and then this site is where you will sign up when registration opens. I am totally jealous because this time Holly is adding content covering styling and photography, which is so important if you want to work on adding original content and photography to your blog. I can’t wait until Spring when there will hopefully be a Blogging Your Way, Part 2!!
Thank you so much for spending a bit of your time with me here this week, and don’t forget to check out the first part of my Holiday Gift Guide below, featuring tons of luxe finds under $25 bucks! Happy Weekend!!

And if anyone is on the fence about signing up for BYW, if it wasn’t for Holly we never would have “met”! It was the icing on the cake on a great ecourse.
