Non-Cheesy Halloween Decor Roundup

in Design & Decor

Maybe it’s because I am now a home-owner, or perhaps it is the autumnal mood and presence of spooky old buildings here in New England – but whatever the reason, I am more motivated to create a bit of Halloween ambiance around my home this year. But I am so not into the cheesiness of many of the Halloween-themed decor items available out there, and I really do think that a little goes a long way when it comes to holiday decorating. Do you know what I mean? I’ve collected here a little roundup of non-cheesy Halloween items to spice up your home with three moods in mind…

First up are a few pieces that would fit in nicely if you have a modern/clean style going on at home. Clockwise from top left: Cute ceramic owl lantern here; Sweet little cushion, done in Amy Butler fabric here; “Suspicious Eyes” wall plaques from Ottoman; Gorgeous bowl by Jill Rosenwald here; Awesome pumpkin patch terrarium here.

Next up, I chose a few items that feel autumnal, tactile and welcoming ~ adorable little needle felted wool acorns here; Yummy sachets here; Wooden apple box here; Willow pumpkin light from Terrain; Burlap banner from Funkyshique; Amazing velvet pumpkins here (thanks Melis!).

And finally, a few items to cherish with that classic spooky vibe ~ Lovely Halloween cones and banner from Painted White by Alice W.; Totally incredible handmade owl by Ann Wood (thanks to My Owl Barn!) p.s. her owls go fast so keep an eye on her blog for updates; Set of Halloween potion stickers here.

Happy October!
