Super Creative Wall Drawings

in Design & Decor

Wow! As soon as I saw these (on the completely adorable Swedish blog Pink Friday), I knew I wanted to share them here because they are some of the most imaginative, intricate wall stickers I have seen. Domestic is a French company that works with designers, graphic artists and visual artists to produce unique works around themes and concepts, and they have been creating wall drawings since 2003 – before it was a major trend. I love how they call these “wall drawings” rather than decals or stickers; it just has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?

I am especially partial to the soft gray wall drawings above, and I would consider putting any of these in my own home. In case you can’t see it above, the Eiffel Tower is actually a growth chart as well – in centimeters! Just the thing for a sophisticated child’s room ;) Would you like to see a few more?

What do you think? Would you or have you ever used wall stickers in your own home? I am still a bit on the fence, but each time I see new, creative versions coming out they grow on me a bit more… You can see tons more wall drawings (and other cool objects) on the Domestic website – they ship to the States, too!

I like how they look in super-styled homes that are all trendy, but I don’t think I would ever use them in my own home. I have a feeling that they would look grubby and I’d wrinkle one and the whole thing would scream of trying too hard.

Love the one with the birds! But those little guys saying, “no”, “yes”, “more” and “get me out of here” are pretty funky too!
