Isn’t that name adorable? Vanessa takes scrumptious photos of colorful yarns, knitting projects, victoria sponge cakes, jars of homemade jam, pretty tea cups and flowers from her garden. Sigh. I wish I could just zip over there and install myself on her sofa – I’m sure she would feed me delicious treats and teach me all sorts of fun crafty things!
do you mind if i knit is the perfect place to go at the end of a long, long, looooong day, when all you want is a nice cuppa and a good friend to wrap you up in a cozy, hand knit blanket and say something kind.

gosh this was an unexpected and lovely surprise! And a little bit surreal too! Thank you for saying such nice things about me and my blog………… I feel slightly……… dazed from how nice you’ve been about me! It’s funny, because I was just going down your latest posts, and thinking how gorgeous your blog is, and wondering why I’d not come across it before, and then I came to this post about me! I love the way you’ve put the mosaic of photos up, they look great, I’m not sure what the other image is, because it’s not coming up on my computer, will try going through firefox.
I’m a fan of Toast clothes too, and I love Kate Spades sense of style. I’m hankering after that lilac dress, worn by the model with yellow ochre stockings, fab.
