Have you looked at the work of Scottish designer Donna Wilson lately? She began her career making wacky knitted toys and now designs throws, cushions and a small line of furniture in collaboration with SCP as well, and I am drooling over the latest addition…

Isn’t that just adorable? In reality I lean more toward white and solid neutral sofas (unless they are slipcovered), because they are so large and expensive to replace or recover if you get sick of the pattern…but looking at the Mabel sofa makes me want to change my mind! How could you possibly be in a bad mood once you’ve come home to this cheerful lemon yellow print and the friendly, curved arms just waiting to envelop you? :)
