Let’s Be Beside The Sea

Good morning! How was your weekend? Did you see any movies? Read any good books? Do anything fun? I stayed unplugged the whole time, which felt so refreshing. I took a few nice long walks with my sweetie, had a picnic in the park, lit a few fireworks in the street (shh!), saw a movie, ate grilled oysters from the farmer’s market, and just relaxed. It was so, so nice, and I am back today feeling full of energy and ideas :) Isn’t it funny how just one extra day off can make such a big difference?

I woke up this morning thinking about the seaside – of cool drinks on the deck of a whitewashed beach cottage, children playing in the sand, treasures washed up on shore, working on little craft projects in the afternoons, and the cool buoyancy of saltwater… Can you picture it? Easing into a summer rhythm where everything moves a bit slower, and we find beauty in the everyday.
