As a nod to the inimitable Diana Vreeland, whose long-running column for Bazaar, “Why Don’t You?” was always full of pizazz, I thought it would be fun to try my own spin. I’ve found this to be a really nice way of generating creative ideas ~ try it in your own notebook (or list some in the comments section if you like) and I think you will see what I mean.

love the flower hair pin – so beautiful! I think I may have just found the perfect accessory for my wedding this summer :)
Love the nod to Ms. Vreeland. I read a book that consisted of her just prattling on about this and that (DV – edited by George Plimpton) and, as she would say, it was “a bit of alright!”
